What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through various outreach methods
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of potential clients and set up appointments
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Book Fairs
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and refine sales techniques

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
