What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs of prospects and setting up appointments for further engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage sales pipeline by accurately tracking interactions and progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall sales effectiveness

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders
