Overview

Opportunity with a company in Educational Services. Salary up to $54,000 per year and annual incentives through a Sales Compensation program with no maximum earnings cap. Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through prospecting
  • Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects and passing them to Account Managers
  • Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Book Fairs
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM programs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for relationship building with peers, superiors, and customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Proven leadership abilities and qualities in previous roles
  • Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
