Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
  • Track progress toward monthly and quarterly sales goals while managing a sales pipeline in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, and customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers, superiors, and customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children's literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and qualities in previous roles
  • Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results effectively
