What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Track and manage sales progress using the CRM system to meet monthly and quarterly goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation and Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for relationship-building with customers and team members

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school-related activities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and execute a vision successfully
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
