Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify leads by understanding prospects\' needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy and support school communities
  • Manage a pipeline of leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and stay informed about industry trends
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, or event management
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with peers, superiors, and customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Proven leadership ability and qualities in a sales environment
  • Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
