Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through prospecting efforts
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of schools regarding Book Fairs
- Establish rapport with educators and administrators to promote literacy initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation and outreach strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, or event management
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers, customers, and management
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with children’s literature and experience with Book Fairs or school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in past roles
- Proficiency in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
