What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for qualified leads to be passed to Account Managers
  • Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and stay informed about industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members
