What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of potential clients, setting appointments, and passing qualified leads to Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including oral presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building

- Proven leadership abilities and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
