What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of potential clients, setting appointments, and passing qualified leads to Account Managers
  • Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including oral presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building
