What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Establish rapport with educators and administrators to emphasize the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to align outreach strategies and enhance lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers and customers

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and qualities in previous roles
- Proficient in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
