What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
  • Establish rapport with educators and administrators to emphasize the value of Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align outreach strategies and enhance lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers and customers
