What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outreach efforts
- Qualify prospects and set appointments, passing qualified leads to Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation efficiency and refine sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results
