What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Prospect and research potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of schools in hosting Book Fairs
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and school administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage and track sales activities and progress towards goals within the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and stay informed about industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation and CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers and customers
