Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outreach via calls, emails, and social media
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build strong relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy and support school communities
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales techniques
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Experience in event management and personal selling
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Creative thinking and innovation in enhancing products and services

Salary: Salary up to $54,000 per year. Opportunity to earn annual incentives through a Sales Compensation program with no maximum earnings cap. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k with company match. Paid Time Off program including vacation, personal, and sick time.
