Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outreach methods including calls, emails, and social media
  • Qualify leads and set appointments to connect prospects with Account Managers
  • Establish and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
  • Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and enhance lead generation efficiency
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with peers and customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
  • Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
  • Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
