What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and build relationships with schools and districts to expand the reach of Scholastic Book Fairs
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of potential partners
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and align outreach efforts
- Achieve sales goals by booking events and identifying alternative opportunities for funding
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for relationship building with customers and colleagues
