Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred bilingual English/Spanish; LOMA 280/281 or Level 1 certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Process new business applications and perform policy research across systems.
• Conduct customer, policy, and process-related research to support operations.
• Review daily system-generated reports and determine follow-up actions.
• Communicate with customers in writing and verbally.
• Review applications for completeness and data consistency.
• Coordinate with field agents regarding requirements and underwriting needs.
• Enter application information into administrative systems; set up bank drafts and payments.
• Coordinate with medical vendors for examinations and underwriting requirements.
• Prepare basic illustrations to support new business processing.
• Process and reconcile basic transactional activities and verify financial transactions.
• Resolve unmatched medical files and process premium refunds per guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and department procedures.
• Provide timely and professional responses to inquiries via phone and email.
