Job description

Role Summary

Develops and implements sales strategies for targeted key accounts within a plan, territory, or specified geographic area. Has comprehensive knowledge of the product/service line and client needs. Focuses on acquiring new clients. Typically requires at least three years of related sales experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Acquire new accounts through direct or brokerage channels.
  2. Achieve or exceed annual business plan objectives related to new firms, revenue, membership, and profitability.
  3. Maintain prescribed weekly activity levels.
  4. Manage the sales process for Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, and Behavioral health products.
  5. Review and respond to RFPs, develop internal strategies, and present quotations.
  6. Manage prospect database and collaborate with assigned producers.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Experience in insurance, underwriting, operations, or a proven sales record.
  • 1-2+ years in managed care sales.
  • Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently or in a team.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work strategically with matrix partners on presale strategies and proposals.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses.
  • Acceptable driving record.

If working remotely, internet service must be via cable broadband or fiber optic with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.

This role is likely eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
