Position Summary

This role partners with financial advisors to coordinate and expedite Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care insurance processes. The ideal candidate has prior experience in case management or supporting advisors with these products. This is a full-time hybrid role requiring at least 2 days per week in LA, San Francisco, or Chicago offices.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage a caseload of 80-100 cases, increasing during peak seasons.
  2. Coordinate insurance applications with carriers like MassMutual.
  3. Stay updated on carrier requirements and educate advisors accordingly.
  4. Assess impairments and risks to determine suitable products and strategies.
  5. Review underwriting responses and negotiate placements.
  6. Maintain accurate case data in client management systems.
  7. Conduct regular meetings with advisors for updates.
  8. Ensure quality control of policies and placements.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Life, Disability, and LTC insurance products.
  • Understanding of underwriting processes and medical terminology.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook.
  • 2+ years supporting financial advisors or in case management roles.
  • Life and Health licenses preferred.
