Job summary

Sammons Financial Group in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a customer service professional to support agents, distribution partners and customers. You will provide accurate, timely service, navigate complex systems and manage applications, case reviews and quality assurance.

Responsibilities include handling high volumes, applying premiums and issuing contracts, solving problems with urgency, documenting outcomes and supporting multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in a related field preferred.
• Customer-centric mindset; strong communication skills.
• Ability to listen and respond with empathy.
• Strong sense of urgency; problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, accurate and timely service via telephone, email, or written communication.
• Process applications and paperwork; document outstanding requirements; apply premiums and issue contracts.
• Review cases and make decisions within policy limits; escalate when outside scope.
• Initiate proactive communication to educate agents/customers on status and requirements.
• Maintain timely production and reduce turnaround time; ensure accuracy and compliance.
