Job summary

Sammons Financial Group in West Des Moines is seeking a Sales Support Associate to provide fixed annuity sales support to agents and distribution partners. You will handle product illustrations, order supplies, educate on offerings and promotions, and pursue outbound sales opportunities to drive growth and agent satisfaction.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, collaboration with sales teams, Salesforce data entry, and maintaining a positive, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
1–2 years' relevant work experience in insurance preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently and independently.
Analytical problem solving and knowledge of the sales process.

Responsibilities

Drive sales by answering inbound calls from agents and partners on product illustrations and promotions.
Proactively make outbound calls to promote products and drive sales.
Enter opportunities in Salesforce for follow-up and closing.
Recruit new agents and support recruiting growth goals.
Provide website registration and technical support assistance as needed.
Cultivate marketing relationships with agents and distribution partners.
Maintain a positive, high-performance team environment and uphold Sammons values.
Meet daily call goals set by manager (≥95%).
Other duties as assigned.
