Review and Prepare Receive and review group insurance and tax documents for completeness; determine group eligibility based on location business type group size and coverage requestedSubmit and Coordinate Submit completed cases to carriers for underwriting approval; enter and track case information while facilitating communication between agents and underwriting to resolve questions and ensure timely progressEnsure Accuracy and Support the Process Apply carrier guidelines and deadlines use appropriate forms assist with census audits and affiliate submissions and build strong relationships with agents and carrier partners
Associates Degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industryAbility to learn and retain detailed information of carriers underwriting guidelines waiting periods and other matters related to new case submission processesStrong attention to detail and accuracy along with compliance of deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracyAbility to work collaboratively and build cooperation with othersExcellent communication interpersonal and customer services skills; ability to secure support and cooperation with othersProficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel; knowledge of databases is desired
