Position: Line Cook / BBQ Pitmaster

As a Line Cook / BBQ Pitmaster, you will provide fast, fresh, and friendly customer service in a dynamic restaurant environment. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and supporting kitchen operations.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Culinary certification or equivalent culinary training/experience
  • Experience in food prep and equipment handling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Service: Prepare ingredients, handle food prep according to recipes and SOPs, assist in various cooking venues, support catering, and ensure quality production.
  • Food Safety/Sanitation: Follow safety procedures, maintain proper temperatures, ensure sanitation, and operate equipment safely.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service, with detailed knowledge of menu items and ingredients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary certification or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of commercial foodservice experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Culinary knowledge and understanding of nutritional values
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Reading, writing, and technological skills
  • Planning, organizing, and math skills for recipes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, extended hours, rotating schedules, and lift up to 80 lbs safely

  • Ability to work safely around moving parts and in various environmental conditions
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform manual tasks as described
