Job summary

Church Mutual is seeking a skilled new application developer to design, implement, and maintain innovative application solutions within an insurance IT environment. You will develop and configure all aspects of new systems, write detailed technical specifications, and ensure system integrity while meeting project schedules.

Required are 3+ years of experience, knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and familiarity with architecture methods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a new application developer.
• Insurance industry related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of architecture methods (e.g., IAA, SOA) and solution standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure all aspects of new application systems.
• Design, enhance, program, and maintain new application solutions.
• Provide detailed technical program specifications and algorithms.
• Ensure overall application system integrity and meeting project schedules.
• Code application logic and data access and perform unit tests.
• Develop reusable code/object/service libraries.
• Enhance and maintain applications.
