Amazon is looking for New Account Managers for its Marketplace in Italy.

The objective of the New Account Manager is to prospect and qualify high potential merchants that deliver competitive selection, pricing, and availability. In addition to recruiting merchants, you will help them launch on Amazon's marketplace by ensuring that they master catalogue, pricing and other tools.

You will join a dynamic and passionate team whose role is to identify companies and work, innovate and commit alongside them to help them succeed in their digital development on Amazon.
What characterizes our Marketplace teams is an our desire to see third-party sellers succeed. Today, thanks to their work, more than half of the products purchased on Amazon are sold by third-party sellers through the Marketplace service.

• Identify and prospect companies, approach them and initiate contact via cold calling and mailing
• Achieve the objectives of launching new businesses on Amazon.it and support third-party sellers in growing their revenue
• Support companies in their launch on Amazon.it educating them on the benefits to develop their business on Amazon
• Train sellers on the tools available in the management interface (Seller Central account) to ensure their autonomy
• Work with sellers on key Account Management levers (selection, conversion, international expansion, logistics and supply chain, promotions, advertising, brand management, etc.) to maximize their sales performance across all Amazon Marketplaces in Europe
• Be proactive and develop new skills by managing cross- functional improvement projects, such as development of new tools/features or processes, in an international environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Genuine interest in the E-commerce sector
• Excellent level of Italian and English
• Minimum of 12 months professional experience in account management, product marketing or management consulting roles
• Strong analytical skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment, good management of complexity
• Ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in cold calling or managing customer accounts
• Experience in the e-commerce sector, in account management, sales, or consulting
• Track record of exceeding targets using a consultative approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
