Job summary

Progressive Turnout Project's democracyFIRST unit in Nevada seeks Field Organizers to expand pro-democracy campaigns in Carson City, Minden, and Reno. As a Field Organizer, you will engage voters, follow a regional field plan, and support GOTV operations with weekend and evening shifts.

You will report to the Regional Organizing Director and meet door-knocking and call goals, while maintaining strong team culture and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 1 election cycle of organizing or managing experience—whether on political campaigns, in local community organizations, or in a customer service role.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
• Exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail - can juggle tasks without letting anything fall through the cracks.
• Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to work independently based on a strategic field plan.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Available to work weekends and evenings during initial phases; weekends and evening work will be required during the GOTV phase.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily and weekly door knocking and phone call goals set by the Field Director
• Remain accountable to metric goals set by Field Director and broader field plan
• Build a strong and supportive team culture
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
