Zusammenfassung

MedStar Health’s MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its neuroscience team in a hybrid role spanning neurosurgery and neuroendovascular services. The position offers broad procedural exposure, including OR first‑assisting, IR suite work, bedside interventions, and both inpatient and outpatient care, with structured mentorship for all experience levels.

New graduates and seasoned APPs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifikationen

• Current certification/licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) certification required for Nurse Practitioners.
• Prior neuroscience or first‑assist experience is a plus but not required.

Aufgaben

• First assist in the OR for spine and cranial procedures
• Assist in the Neurovascular IR suite - thrombectomies, diagnostic and interventional spinal and cerebral angiograms
• Perform bedside procedures, including EVD and SEPS placement
• Round on inpatient post‑op patients
• Provide ED and inpatient consults
• See patients in outpatient clinic
