Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Neurovascular Radiology Technologist to support advanced neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures in a large, collaborative department. The role requires ARRT/CMRT credentials and experience in interventional radiology or radiologic technology.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology.
• 3 years as a registered Radiologic Technologist or 1 year interventional radiology experience; preferred degree may reduce requirements.
• ARRT Registration; CMRT license; CPR/BLS; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Neurovascular and interventional procedure support: follow imaging protocols, assist with biopsies and catheterizations, support flow diversion and stenting procedures, aid with aneurysm and vascular conditions, and stroke interventions.
• Imaging and post-processing: perform advanced 3D reconstruction and collaborate on sizing and implant selection.
• Inventory and equipment management: maintain neuro-specific inventory and ensure readiness of imaging and related devices.
• Clinical procedure support: circulate and scrub during procedures to assist physicians in sterile environment and ensure patient safety.
• On-call and additional duties: participate in 24-hour on-call rotation and perform other departmental tasks.
