Job summary

NMA (Neuromonitoring Associates) in Chicago, IL seeks a Neurotechnologist to join our ABRET-recognized IOM training program and real-time neurophysiological monitoring team in the operating room.

The NT will set up patients for intraoperative testing, communicate outcomes to the interpreting neurologist and surgical team, and maintain credentialing and documentation while traveling to cover cases as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences or similar.
• CNIM certification required.
• Clinical competence in intraoperative monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day monitoring of surgical cases.
• Implement clinical and operational policies and protocols.
• Complete each case, including required documentation, and close out within 24 hours.
• Participate in weekend/PM call rotation.
• Communicate with assigned remote neurologists and the surgical team throughout the surgery.
• Remain current with all credentialing requirements.
• Travel to cover cases in other regions as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Participate in team meetings and professional events.
