Job summary

Science is a clinical stage technology company focused on neuroscience challenges. We seek a Mechanical Assembly Technician to fabricate, assemble, and modify tools for neuroscience work, moving quickly without sacrificing precision.

Collaboration across the assembly and engineering teams is essential. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of technician experience, GD&T familiarity, and exposure to surgical/biological environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant technician experience.
• GD&T experience preferred.
• Experience working with surgical or biological requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate plastic, metal, and electronic parts (manual & machine-assisted).
• Assemble mechanical & low-voltage systems; perform validation and testing.
• Maintain a safe work environment and develop new products/processes.
• Support rapid prototyping and component 3D printing.
• Follow assembly SOPs and interpret drawings and rework instructions.
• Maintain clear documentation of requirements.
• Operate and maintain machine shop tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with assembly/engineering teams.
