Objective Biotechnology is seeking an Assembly Technician to support hands-on assembly, testing, and operation of precision instruments and robotic systems.
You will work with engineers to build real systems used in cutting-edge research environments and gain experience in mechanical and electrical assembly in a startup setting.
Location: Minneapolis – Bryn Mawr area (On-site)
Hours: 10–20 hours per week

We design and deploy precision mechatronic systems, computer vision pipelines, and instrument control software used by leading research labs worldwide.
We are looking for an Assembly Technician to support the hands-on assembly, testing, and operation of precision instruments and robotic systems.
This role is ideal for candidates with an interest in mechanical systems, electronics, robotics, or manufacturing, and who enjoy working directly with hardware.
You will work closely with engineers to build and improve real systems used in cutting-edge research environments.
Currently pursuing or completed education in:
Hands-on experience with any of the following is a strong plus:
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision hardware
Problem-solving mindset and interest in building and fixing systems
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a startup environment
Biology experience is not required
Eligible to work in the United States
