Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing.

• Could participate in the Preceptor class to train new employees.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to provide safe, quality patient care and document accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with NMHS policies as directed by Nurse Manager and Educator.
• Provide patient/family education and act as a resource for staff.
• Maintain communication with multidisciplinary team members for holistic care.
• Attend daily huddles to coordinate assignments and identify on-coming staff.
