Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years or more recent RN experience within the last five years in Neurosciences or related units.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and in-depth knowledge in neurosurgical nursing.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and identify needs of neurosurgery patients.
• Provide clinical support to all neurosurgery patients and physicians at Parnassus Neurosurgery clinic.
• Ensure compliance with UCSF Ambulatory Services and Medical Center infection control, safety and clinical policies.
