Qualifications

• Five years of case management, care coordination, or general RN experience, or three years in Neuroscience/ICU.
• Valid RN license.
• Knowledge of healthcare, patient assessment, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily clinical assessment of neurosurgical patients across all care phases.
• Facilitates scheduling of studies or procedures with financial considerations.
• Develops and implements protocols of care in neurosurgery with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educates patients and families; coordinates communication among physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Maintains accurate medical records and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
