Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures per established policies. You will operate radiology equipment, position patients, and ensure quality and safety standards are met across the imaging department.

The ideal candidate has an AMA-approved radiology program, ARRT certification, and current BLS. Schedule is full-time with typical hours 8-5, no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT certification in general radiologic technology.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster comfort and confidence for patients.
• Operates and maintains imaging department equipment including x-ray.
• Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to capture images as ordered.
• Performs all imaging exams in accordance with policies and notifies physician on duty of results.
• Completes QA and practices radiation safety to minimize exposure.
