Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is actively seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our Columbus, Georgia program. This PRN opportunity aims to expand the neuroscience service line and position Piedmont as the leading neurosurgery program in Georgia.

Qualifications

• BC/BE neurosurgeon with eligibility to practice in Georgia.
• Experience in a comprehensive neuroscience program is preferred.
• Proven clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurosurgical patient care in a high-volume setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to expand the neuroscience service line.
• Participate in call coverage and teach residents/fellows when applicable.

Piedmont Columbus Regional is comprised of two hospitals, serving a radius of more than 14 counties. The Midtown Campus is the largest of Piedmont Columbus Regional's hospitals with a daily census of 275 patient and functions as a Level 2 Trauma Center, Neuroscience Center of Excellence, and a newly renovated Emergency and Trauma Center. We also have an interventional radiology program that performs mechanical thrombectomies for acute ischemic strokes and a complement of Neurology services to include a dedicated Neuroscience floor with an attached Neuro ICU.
