You will perform clinic duties, inpatient management, and assist in cranial and spine procedures. The position requires PA-C certification, Florida licensure, and neurosurgery experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with Florida license or eligibility.
• Previous Neurosurgery experience required.
• Surgical First Assist experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently in both clinic and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

Health First is seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing Neurosurgery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically confident PA who enjoys practicing at the top of their license in a role that combines outpatient care, inpatient management, and surgical first assist responsibilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with an experienced team of neurosurgeons to deliver exceptional patient care.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, employed position
• Monday-Friday schedule (Clinic: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
• Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and hospital consults
• First Assist in the operating room on complex cranial and spine procedures
• Shared 1:5 call rotation, including one weekday of hospital call per week and one weekend of call per month
• Average clinic volume of 15-16 patients per day
• Advanced surgical technology, including Globus navigation and instrumentation

Practice Highlights
