Competitive compensation ranges from $185,000 to $250,000 per year, with benefits and opportunities for professional growth. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of Neurosurgery PA experience
• Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
• New Jersey PA license
• New Jersey DEA license
• New Jersey CDS license
• ACLS, BLS

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inpatient consults and rounds for hospital patients as assigned.
• Order labs/radiology/tests/consults as needed.
• Perform H&Ps and write pre/post-op orders.
• Prescribe meds per NJ law incl. controlled substances with DEA.
• Maintain board certification and CME requirements.
• Maintain current expertise in practice area.
• Support professional growth and development.
• Communicate with attending physicians and PA team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on treatment plans.
• Assist in surgical cases as needed.
