Requirements include ARC-PA accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, current PA licensure in applicable states, and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• ARC-PA accredited PA program completion required.
• Current NCCPA certification and PA licensure in each state of practice.
• DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patient health concerns across lifespan.
• Provide on-call coverage outside regular hours and coordinate care.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
