Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Neurosurgery team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. This role involves supporting outpatient and inpatient neurosurgical services within a high-volume neuroscience program.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant or have completed an approved Nurse Practitioner program, along with the necessary certification and Pennsylvania licensure.

Qualifications

• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or equivalent.
• Current Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Primary duty of outpatient clinic (shared and independent clinics).
• Weekly inpatient and consult coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Primary operating room coverage on Fridays and as needed Monday through Thursday.
