Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant for a night shift across five area hospitals in Englewood, NJ. The role requires independent patient assessment, ordering labs and tests, and assisting in surgical cases as part of a collaborative PA team.

You will perform histories and physicals, participate in rounds, and uphold high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position offers comprehensive benefits, 3/12 schedules, and weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• New Jersey DEA license and New Jersey CDS license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Board Certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inpatient consults and round on hospital patients at five area hospitals.
• Perform comprehensive history and physicals.
• Independently assess patients and order labs/tests/consults.
• Assist in surgical cases, as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with the attending physician and PA team, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Continually seek opportunities for professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurosurgery.
