Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine is seeking a Physician Associate to join our busy Neurosurgery practice. This role offers mentorship and opportunities for new graduates in a supportive environment.

The position highlights a flexible 4- or 5-day workweek with shared call, and close collaboration with a multi-specialty trauma program. You will act as first assist in the OR and provide comprehensive perioperative care, with access to modern facilities and dedicated ICU

Responsibilities

• First assist in the operating room and support surgical teams.
• Provide pre- and post-operative inpatient care and post-operative outpatient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary trauma program and neurology services.
• Share call responsibilities with other PAs to maintain coverage.
• Support services include hospitalists, stroke team, and ICU staff.
