Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group - North State in Redding, CA is seeking a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join a high-volume neurosurgical team within a Level II Trauma Center. The role covers inpatient, outpatient, and operative responsibilities in a community hospital setting.

Successful candidates may be new graduates with strong motivation; prior neurosurgery experience is encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible license in the State of California.
• Nationally recognized certification.
• Completion of state mandated educational courses.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical support to the neurosurgeon in both the operating room and the clinical setting.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and coordinate care with families and the clinical team.
• Perform inpatient rounding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and outcomes.
• Participate in procedures and assist in the management of complex neurosurgical cases within a Level II Trauma Center environment.
