Job summary

• Prior APP experience is required, with surgical or neurosurgery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for new neurosurgical patients.
• Evaluate post-operative patients and provide ongoing follow-up care.
• Develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans in collaboration with neurosurgeons.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
• Assist in the operating room with cranial and spine procedures, including craniotomies and instrumentation.
• Perform wound closure and conduct daily inpatient rounds, including ICU patients.
• Evaluate emergency department and inpatient consults and assist with discharge planning.
