Munson Healthcare seeks a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the neurosurgery team. The APP will manage neurosurgical patients from ED through admission, under the supervision of Neurosurgeons.

It requires licensure as NP or PA in Michigan, with board certification and relevant surgical experience. The role involves on-call duties, documentation in medical records, and collaboration with OR schedulers and EMS.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Michigan.
• Master of Science in Nursing with ANCC/ACNP certification or equivalent for PA track.
• Two years of clinical practice in neurosurgery or related area preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide medical and surgical management of Neurosurgery patients.
• Perform H&P, orders, and daily progress notes under supervision.
• Respond to ED consults within 30 minutes and participate in trauma/neurosurgery meetings.
