Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and patients before and after appointments, utilizing Epic to document and upload records, and PACS for imaging. You will help with scheduling, vitals, referrals, and authorizations in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires MA certification, 2 years of experience, and BLS, with work in a busy environment delivering high-quality patient care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with MA training from an accredited program.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Current MA certification from an accredited organization (AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA, AAH, AAMP, or NPS).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Confirm patient appointments and collect pre-visit paperwork.
• Schedule and assist with in-office procedures and imaging orders.
• Obtain vital signs and assist clinicians with medications and authorizations.
• Manage high-volume patient clinics and calls with professionalism.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and uploading patient records.
• Use PACS to upload imaging data and coordinate referrals.
