Job summary

Geisinger in Wilkes-Barre is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide frontline clinical support to providers and patients. You will obtain histories, deliver direct patient care, assist with procedures, and ensure proper specimen handling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license.
• Experience providing basic clinical care as part of a health care team.
• Ability to document patient information accurately in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient medical history and vital signs.
• Provide direct clinical care under provider supervision.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures and diagnostic tests as directed.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing.
• Administer medications and vaccines per scope of practice.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain asepsis between cases.
