Job summary

The Queen's Health Systems seeks an Advanced Practice Provider in Hawaii to deliver comprehensive medical care, diagnose, prescribe, and assist in procedures. APPs work with physicians and the care team across hospital and clinic settings to ensure seamless patient experiences and outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold Hawaii APRN or Physician Assistant licensure, board certification, RNFA, and current ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State license as an APRN or Physician Assistant in good standing.
If licensed as an APRN, specialty board certification aligned with area of assignment is required.
If licensed as an APRN, successful completion of a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Program is required.
Prescriptive authority for non-controlled and controlled substances may be required depending on assignment.
Additional certification(s) may be required depending on assignment.
Credentialing and privileging required if providing medical level of care.
Current ACLS certification.
Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide medical care, diagnose, prescrib,e and assist in surgical procedures as applicable.
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support seamless patient care across hospital and clinics.
Develop care protocols, participate in health care research, and advocate for patients.
Maintain credentialing and privileging as required for the scope of practice.
