Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive neurosurgical evaluations and ongoing management of Veterans with neurosurgical conditions.
• Performs advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and consults for outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Coordinates preoperative and postoperative assessments, and manages wound care and recovery.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and imaging, adjusting plans based on results.
• Collaborates with neurosurgeons and other specialists to ensure continuity across care settings.
• Educates patients and families about neurosurgical conditions, treatment options, and recovery.
