Aptive is seeking a qualified Neurosurgeon (Board Certified / Board Eligible) to provide comprehensive neurosurgical care at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, WA. The role includes performing outpatient and inpatient neurosurgical services, ensuring high-quality patient care according to clinical standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO, possess board certification, and have the ability to communicate effectively in English. This position offers standard clinical hours and opportunities for quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Eligibility for credentialing and privileging at a VA medical facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient neurosurgery clinic services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Perform neurosurgical operative procedures within granted clinical privileges.
  • Conduct inpatient consults, bedside evaluations, and follow-up care.

Skills

Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Experience in inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery

Education

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery residency
