Job Description

The Henry Ford Medical Group (HFMG) is seeking to employee a Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery. This Neurosurgeon will be based in Saginaw, Michigan as part of the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) between Henry Ford Health and Covenant Healthcare.As an HFMG Neurosurgeon, this provider will report to the Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery.

  • Henry Ford Health-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with responsibility to the Joint Operating Committee (JOC) that governs the Neuroscience service line under the scope of the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) between Henry Ford Health and Covenant HealthCare.

  • Perform a wide range of neurosurgical procedures including cranial and spinal surgeries.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as MRIs, CT scans, and angiograms to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Provide consultations, assessments, and follow-up care for patients in outpatient clinics and inpatient settings.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
